Spread the love

Some weddings are loud and full of movement. Others are quiet, slow, and sink deep into your chest. Carly and Tucker’s wedding day was the second kind.

Inside Evolve Coffee House, surrounded by warm light and the people who know them best, they promised their lives to one another. There was no rush, no excess—just steady hands, tear-filled eyes, and vows spoken with so much intention you could feel the weight of them in the room. It felt less like a ceremony and more like a moment the world gently paused for.

The morning began with Carly and her mom, sisters & niece hanging out in the Temple Gardens Mineral Spa hotel room, slowly getting ready and enjoying visiting until we were to meet up with Tucker for their intimate first look. Of course, the weather did not cooperate, and it was sleeting outside. We decided to tuck away into the Moose Jaw Public Library (one of my fave indoor spots for portraits in town) and captured some editorial style shots here, before heading outside for a few in the fresh snow.

(Huge shout out to my girl, Amarha for hooking me up with these timeless, clear umbrellas to protect Carly & Tucker from the snow!)

From there, we made our way to Evolve Coffee Roastery to prepare for the ceremony, dinner, and reception. The space felt warm and welcoming, setting the tone for the rest of the evening.

Their ceremony was intimate, wholesome, and unbelievably sweet. Tears were shed during their heartfelt personal vows, followed by the kind of smooch that had everyone smiling. It was simple, emotional, and perfectly them.

The night ended the best way—games shared with loved ones, a meaningful slideshow, and short, heartfelt toasts honouring their love. A truly special day, celebrating a love that feels steady, sincere, and deeply rooted 🤍
